Santorini is a volcanic island, located in the Aegean Sea, 63 nautical miles north of Crete and 120 miles fromGreece. Santorini is a part of a larger group of islands and is considered to be the most beautiful and visited of all in the area.

The beautiful sea pearl has a rich history. Santorini is the next the most important Minoan site after Crete. This Bronze civilization existed from 3000 to 1580 BC. The archeologists have even found that the island resembles Atlantis as described by Plato.

The rocks have formed a beautiful lagoon in the middle of the island. The landscape with steep cliffs has determined the architecture with famous white cubical houses and their blue roofs. Orthodox Metropolitan Cathedral is the famous sightseeing along with historical places and the island itself.
